Last spring I did a class that I had donated for a fund raiser for the preschool. This is what the girls made:
I loved this set of cards! Probably because I loved this (now retired) Designer Series Paper. I found pre-cut card stock for two of these cards.
First original:
I didn't change much on this one. I just found some stamps that would work in the 1 1/4" circle punch and added some different Chocolate Chip ribbon.
Second original:
I just flipped the card and used a scrap of Pumpkin Pie card stock with the Beautiful Butterflies embosslit to create the butterfly accents. And I used Chocolate Chip satin ribbon rather than the taffeta.
Second new version:
I trimmed the Chocolate Chip card stock a little and used the scallop edge punch on both long sides. I also used the paper piercing tool in each scallop. I used the scallop square punch to punch three squares from my piece of Designer Series Paper and layered those on the Pink Pirouette squares. The one in the center is just turned over. (I love our two-sided papers!) The "hello" (and the images from version 1) is from the Hello Again set. I popped the center square with Dimensionals so I could add the mini library clip. I decided I liked the Pretty in Pink satin ribbon on this one.
I think this DSP was one of my all-time favorites. But we have some gorgeous ones coming in the new catalog! Thursday is the big day! That also means that retiring product from the current catalog is available only through Wednesday. Many of the retiring accessories are already sold out. Click the link on the right to check availability. Retiring stamp sets will not sell out, but all retiring product must be ordered by Wednesday. Just click on over to my Stampin' Up! site to place your order online.
Happy stamping, everyone!
