I knew from the moment I saw this set in the catalog that I would be purchasing it. My husband's motorcycle is his main source of transportation. And not to mention the fact that I had very few masculine stamp sets!

When I was preparing for my Jar of Love class, I made several projects and then chose four. I like this card, but it didn't make the cut for the class:
What a fun shaker card! I adore this stamp set. There are just so many things you can do with it. I used the Confetti Punch to make confetti to go inside the jar.

I'm prepping for my kids' class, which is tomorrow. I decided since it's almost October, we would do some Halloween projects.
I sometimes use retired product in my kids' classes. The Curvy Keepsake Box/caramel apple is made with retired Baked Brown Sugar card stock (it's just the perfect color for caramel!) and Cucumber Crush ribbon. The card uses various retired ribbons and stamps from September 2014 Paper Pumpkin. The note pad is made with the current Jar of Haunts and the retired Halloween Bash. I love the little tassels! They are in the Holiday catalog.

I love the Jar of Love stamp set and the coordinating Everyday Jars Framelits Dies! And today is the last day to register for this fun class! We will be making four projects in the class:
And you have options! Come to my house and stamp with me on Tuesday, Oct. 4, get the class to go (front porch pick-up), or get the class in the mail. You will receive the stamp set, Framelits and project supplies. I will have videos and PDF instructions to help you complete your projects. We recently had a get together with a tailgating theme. I needed a take-home gift and immediately thought of the Popcorn Box Thinlits.
I love how these turned out! I used the retired-but-currently-on-the-clearance-rack Decorative Dots Textured Empressions Embossing Folder (item #133520) to give it a football texture. Strips of Whisper White card stock create "stitching." I created the tag on my computer, since I wanted something specifically to go with our event. The boxes are filled with white chocolate popcorn. Yum!

I love this year's Ronald McDonald House stamp set, Sprinkles of Life.
And I love that is has a coordinating punch. And that for every stamp set purchased, Stampin' Up! donates $3 to Ronald McDonald House Charities.

I love a good challenge. So I decided to take on some stamping challenges. I came across Can You Case It. This week they have a sketch.

Occasionally, some of my favorite retired products show up on the clearance rack. Of course, there are always a lot of great things on there. Right now, though, you can get the Mustache Framelit for only $4.77. I miss this little gem of a die! We used it last month at my Kid's Fun Club.
I cased this card from pinterest. The monocle is made using the 1" and 1 1/4" circle punches. The hat is made from the Circle Framelits (I used the 4th from the outside) and a 3/8" X 3 1/2" strip of card stock that is trimmed at each end with the Word Window Punch. The collar is a 3/4" X 2" strip of card stock with a 3/8" slit at the center point. We made this a Father's Day card, but it could be used for any occasion.
We also did this - a coaster in a matching bag. When we cut out the mustache, we saved the negative image and used it for a stencil. We sponged ink onto the tumbled marble tiles. We used retired Craft ink, but Stazon would work. The bag got the same treatment.
Last year's Holiday Catalog had some wonderful Real Red ribbon that is currently on the clearance rack for $2.79. That's a steal! We used it on this punch art card in April:
Love this little bear card! It is created with various Circle Framelits and circle and oval punches. (The small oval punch I used for his eyes is retired, but you could easily substitute a different punch.) Lots of prep work for me with this card, but it was worth it. It turned out so cute.
