I am loving the Hello You Thinlits Dies in the Occasions catalog. Here is a simple card I made the other day:
I die cut the "hello" from the Very Vanilla layer and attached it to the Cherry Cobbler layer. When you cut out a word, your negative image is just the very outside lines. Here is the word happy, so you can see what I mean:
See? All the loopy letters are just big holes. So I took the little pieces that the die cut made and glued them back inside the letters. It's not hard but does take a little patience. And tweezers are helpful.
And see the little red, shiny things? Those are our Rhinestones. Colored with Cherry Cobbler Blendabilities. Lovely! Sadly, the Blendabilities are currently unavailable. We are having some quality control issues. But I know Stampin' Up! will get it all straightened out, and they will be available again soon. And then you will want to buy some, because they are awesome!
Happy stamping, everyone!
Annette
